Meet the Team
Director
Rajendra Thapa
For more than 25 years, Rajendra Thapa has worked alongside individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and the professionals who support them across New Hampshire. What he knows about this work didn't come from a classroom or a job title, it came from the people he's had the privilege to know.
Rajendra believes support is never about directing someone's life. It's about listening closely, paying attention to what matters to each person, and honoring the choices they make for themselves. He has never believed that anyone is "less privileged." If anything, he sees it as a privilege, to be trusted, welcomed, and invited to walk beside someone as they shape their own path, on their own terms.
Over the years, Rajendra has witnessed the power of self-advocacy firsthand. When individuals speak up for their own needs and dreams, they don't just change their own lives they open doors for others in the disability community as well.
His approach is simple: Stand besides, not above. Listen more than you speak.
Support people in living the life they choose not the life others expect for them.
Every day, Rajendra continues to learn from the resilience, honesty, and strength of the people he serves. For him, this work has never been something he gives. It's something he's trusted with.
